catholic freedom tees
truth. fidelity. courage.
2020 ushered in social unrest like we have never seen. Chaos, violent crimes skyrocketing, government coercion against religious freedom, freedom of speech continuing to be under assault. This is what we are facing. The evil one has unleashed his forces of division and destruction at levels unseen before. Even basic facts of reality are being revolted against. As Catholics, we must revolt against this nonsense and restore our culture to right order at the service of the Cross. We need courage and fidelity to bring Truth into our world.
I founded Catholic Freedom Tees at the conclusion of the Year of Saint Joseph and the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, December 8, 2021 as a way to earn some extra income as a stay-at-home-mom of twins. But my hope is that this modest endeavor becomes more than an online clothing shop. I hope that those who sport the merch I offer are inspired to pray the Rosary and to share the Good News with everyone they meet.

My husband and I live in, what he calls, "a sea of crybaby liberals,"
known as San Francisco. Once the heart of the hippie movement
of peace and love, now it seems the stone-cold heart of anarchy
and subversion to natural order. It’s a city of mindless robots who
drink fancy lattes and wear anarchist and communist symbols. It
was once a welcoming city. Now, you cannot walk down the street
wearing certain political slogans or images without risking being assaulted. I’ve seen this firsthand. In October of 2020, just after returning to San Francisco from our honeymoon, my husband was assaulted and hospitalized by antifa thugs for wearing a political hat they didn't like.

The best thing we can do to dispel the devil is to laugh in his face. So, I’ve taken the symbols of the radical left and have turned them into symbols to promote authentic peace and justice, which is only achieved through Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And I believe that Saint Joseph, the Terror of Demons, will help us in this fight.

It was no coincidence that Pope Francis declared the Year of Saint Joseph from December 8, 2020 on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception to the same feast in 2021. We need a man like Saint Joseph to lead us, particularly men, to counteract the madness that surrounds us. I was so inspired by the Holy Spirit’s movement to raise up Saint Joseph in our times, that my husband and I named our first-born Joseph. I concluded the Year of Saint Joseph with my consecration to him. For 33 days, I read about and meditated on the life of Saint Joseph and his role in salvation history. I listened to Father Donald Calloway’s meditations on Saint Joseph every day. Father Calloway has really brought this saint to life for me, and I hope it comes through in the graphic tees I’m working on.

We need Saint Joseph, our spiritual father. I commend this work under his patronage.
