It's Tuesday, January 18, 2022, 10:24 PM, and I'm writing this first blog post from my kitchen table. My husband just came out of the bedroom to use the bathroom. He asked me what I was doing. I vaguely responded, "Working on a project." He asked, "Paid?" I said, "Yeah." And that was that.
I began this "project" in December at the conclusion of the Year of St. Joseph and with my consecration to him. Right now I'm putting the final touches on the website before I go public with it this Saturday at the 18th Annual Walk for Life West Coast, where I'll be passing out prayer cards that I designed with some of the t-shirt designs.
My husband knows nothing about this endeavor. I wanted to tell him after orders started coming in. I am blessed to not "have" to work, but my husband and I know that it would be great if I could make some side income. So, I wanted to surprise him with some side income. But I can't wait to surprise him. One: I think launching it at the event where we had our second date would be pretty cool, and it's the perfect event to meet my target market. Two: I can't be on my computer nervously switching windows and tabs as soon as I hear the bedroom door knob turn. I hope he doesn't think I'm looking at porn!
