Remember the song by John Lennon "Imagine" where he sings a line, "Imagine there's no heaven/ It's easy if you try." Our base Bishop of San Francisco Salvatore Cordileone apparently turned this around in a message to say, "Imagine there's no abortion."
Today at the 18th Annual Walk for Life West Coast, in the heart of San Francisco, I learned of Bishop Cordileone's lyrical "reimagining" and other things he has done for the pro-life movement, which is why he was honored as the recipient of the pro-life award at the rally before the walk.
I love our bishop. He does not waver from the foundation of the Church. He calls out sin, invites the lost sheep to reconciliation (I'm talking about you, Nancy Pelosi), and then he offers the clemency of Christ.
The Church needs more base bishops like Cordileone. Use the hashtag #basebishop on posts about bishops who are doing the Lord's work. Let's raise up these bishops! Sadly, many of our bishops are in cahoots with Satan, so pray for them.
